The Shura Council announced its various committees and the members of each committee's terms of reference. It also defined the competencies of these committees.

The committees announced by the Council are:

• The Information and Cultural Affairs Committee is chaired by Mr. Khalid bin Ahmed Al-Obaidan
• The Economic and the Financial Affairs Committee is chaired by Mr. Mohamed Yousef Al-Mana
• The Internal and External Affairs Committee is chaired by Mr. Ali Muhsin Futais.
• The Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee is chaired by Mr. Abdul Rahman Yusef Al-Khelaifi.
• The Services and the Public Utilities Committee is chaired by Mr. Ali bin Saeed Al-Khayareen.
