Mada – Assistive Technology Center Qatar, which operates under the umbrella of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, announced the establishment of a remote training workshop today entitled "Integrating Assistive Technology into the School Environment", as a continuation of the series of training workshops offered by the Center through the open training program, which has achieved great success, since its launch.

The training workshop, which targets support teachers, teacher assistants, and support specialists, will be conduted via Zoom program. The workshop also aims at identifying the importance of using assistive technology for students with disabilities in an inclusive school environment, and various resources will be shared to increase interaction and benefit.

Through this workshop, experts will explain the process of using assistive technology within individual educational plans and how to create an assistive technology team that will contribute to providing appropriate and effective assistive technology based on students' needs.
