Qatar University (QU) has achieved an advanced ranking globally according to Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2021, after QU has jumped up to the 301-350 band. Thus, QU has jumped 90 places, compared to the last year edition.
The "THE" World University Rankings 2021 includes around 1,527 universities across 93 countries and regions, which has been regarded as the largest and most diverse university rankings up to now. The table is based on 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators that measure a university's performance across teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international reputation.
Commenting on this achievement, QU President Dr. Hassan Al Derham, has said: "This is a prestigious moment for QU to be ranked among top 350 universities globally. This jump signifies the commitment of QU toward its five-year strategy (2018-2022) that maps out the routes to achieving continuing performance excellence."
