Qatar University (QU) has climbed 100 places in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings for the year 2023, to become one of the top 250 universities in the world.
This ranking evaluates 1799 higher education institutions in the world (of which 137 are included this year) according to the only global performance charts that govern universities, through extensive research, in all their core missions of teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international expectations.
According to this ranking, the main progress in the grades observed for QU included two pillars: research and citations, which demonstrate the excellence and positive impact of the state's support for research funding.
QU maintained its position in the top ten according to the international outlook indicator, within the Times Higher Education Ranking, for the eighth year in a row.
