According to the statement issued by Government Communications Office (GCO) on the suspension of education at public and private schools and universities for all students in the State of Qatar as of today, Tuesday until further notice, Qatar University (QU) has announced several important measures. This is in a manner that the QU educational process is ongoing by using virtual education and distant learning platforms. Moreover, QU will communicate with students via email and blackboard in order to provide students with details, and all QU staffs, faculty members and administrative body members will continue working regularly. 

All student participations overseas shall also be suspended and all university events shall be delayed until further notice.  Within this framework, QU recommends that its students, all staffs and professors, and administrative body members should abide by protective factors and should follow instructions and health guidance to curb the spread of coronavirus.  

According to the suspension of education, it has been decided to cancel QU Career Fair. QU Career Development Center emphasized launching an alternative plan to apply for training, care and employment opportunities. QU Career Development Center is working on this plan and the plan will be announced soon.
