Qatar Development Bank (QDB) was awarded the Best Bank in Financial Inclusion and Customer Welfare in the Arabian Gulf from the Union of Arab Banks (UAB) and the Arab Information & Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO).

This came at the awarding ceremony for banks that won the "Excellence Awards for the Best Arab Digital Financial Institutions 2020-2021" at its second session in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

QDB services are in line with the four goals that the Excellence Awards for the Best Arab Digital Financial Institutions 2020-2021 seeks to achieve, which include innovation, financial inclusion, customer loyalty, and customer well-being. QDB supports and strengthens the Qatari private sector and by providing entrepreneurs and SMEs with a wide range of advisory, financing and knowledge products, and services under one umbrella, which made it one of the Arab banks honored in this important celebration.
