Qatar Tourism has invited experienced tourist guides and eligible residents to enroll in a training program for tourist guides in order to develop and enhance their skills in the tourism sector. The 14-day program provides information on Qatar's history, environment and culture, which is required for a tour guide to obtain an official license to practice the profession.

The program also aims to strengthen and raise the level of tourism service providers and regulate the sector by providing official licenses to tour guides who pass the required training and tests. Interested parties can register through the Qatar Tourism website or in person at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry office in Lusail City, Al-Jassra Tower, in the first floor/office No. 44.

The program will be conducted in English and the exam fee is QR1,200 while the Tour Guide license fee is QR1,000.
