Qatar Tourism announced its first contest “Iconic Limousine Design”, in partnership with Mowasalat (Karwa), and invited Qataris and residents to participate in creating the design for a new fleet of iconic limousines.

The competition aims at encouraging Qatari and resident artists in the State of Qatar to express the Qatari identity and culture by submitting designs that focus on three main areas: Qatar’s culture and heritage, Qatar’s growing future and Qatar’s vision of sustainability and environmentally friendly projects.

A committee from Qatar Tourism will be responsible for creating a shortlist of designs, which will then be available for the public to vote on. Later on, a jury of notable Qatari personalities will choose the winning design that will decorate the luxurious electric limousine cars, while another prize will be given for the design that receives the highest number of votes from the public.
