The State of Qatar is hosting the events of the regional 4th Arab Digital Content Forum during 5-7 October 2020 under the theme "The Future of Arabic Content on the Internet." The events are organized by the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) under the auspices of the Arab League in collaboration with Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) in the State of Qatar, the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO) and the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA).
This three-day virtual forum will discuss the reality of the Arabic digital content, ways to develop and advance it and challenges facing it. The forum will also discuss the importance of Arabic digital content during crises, the role it has played during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and how to use it in addressing other crises.
The forum will also discuss many issues related to the creation of Arabic digital content, the most important of which are the prospects of distance learning, the future role of Arabic digital content within the education sector and lessons learnt from how the education sector has responded during the COVID-19 crisis. Moreover, the forum will discuss the role of the Arabic digital content in smart cities, the Arabic digital content, and innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth. ;
