Qatar Ranks Second Worldwide for Percentage of Population with at Least One Dose

The Government Communications Office (GCO) stated that the State of Qatar is now ranked among the best performing countries in the world in terms of vaccination coverage for its population, as it ranked second in the world in terms of the percentage of the population who received at least one dose, and fifth in the world in terms of the percentage of population who have been fully vaccinated.
GCO explained that the State of Qatar agreed to the emergency use of the vaccines "Moderna and Pfizer- BioNTech" against the coronavirus (Covid-19).
The vaccination process currently includes providing two doses of either vaccine, with an invitation to the following population groups at risk of infection with the coronavirus to receive the vaccine, while other population groups can register their desire to obtain it.
