The State of Qatar ranked 7th in the annual Agility Emerging Markets Logistics Index for 2023. In addition, Qatar ranked 2nd in the Business Fundamentals Index, 4th in the Domestic Logistics Opportunities Index and 5th in the Digital Readiness Index.  

It is noteworthy that the index, issued in its annual 14th edition this year, groups 50 leading emerging markets worldwide in terms of their competitiveness based on logistic strengths and business climate. 

Global supply chain executives say that technology-based innovation and help for small businesses will have major and effective role to drive non-oil economic growth for GCC countries' economies, which have outperformed most other economies in the 14th Agility Emerging Markets Logistics Index.
