Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) issued a special postage stamp on the 40th anniversary of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC). The stamp displays the picture of the founding leaders and the flags of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
Faleh bin Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post), said that the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf embodies the meaning of fraternity, the historical unity and common destiny that connects the people of the region. He added that this stamp commemorates the 40th anniversary of the founding of this Council, which reflected the vision and aspiration of the founding leaders for a better future for the Gulf States.
