Qatar Opens the World's Longest Air-Conditioned Outdoor Walking Track

HE Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, the Minister of Municipality, yesterday, opened Umm Al Seneem Park in Al Rayyan city, which has been constructed by the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) in coordination with the Public Parks Department at the Ministry of Municipality.
It is considered one of the most important distinctive parks that serve the residents of Umm Al Seneem and the surrounding areas, as it contains the longest air-conditioned outdoor track in the world with a length of 1143 meters, to encourage the public to practice jogging and walking.
HE Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie confirmed that the green area in the State of Qatar has increased 10 times since 2010 until now through the expansion of building green gardens, parks, and landscaping.
