The Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) has revealed that Qatar is ranked first in the world in mobile Internet speed, according to the results of the Speedtest Index for December 2020.The State of Qatar topped the Global Internet Speed Index, which ranks 139 countries around the world. Qatar jumped to first place after it was ranked second after South Korea, and Doha jumped 25 full places from its ranking last year, where it was ranked 26th in the world.
The "Speed test global index" website published a report in which it revealed the Internet speed index for the month of last December, and came in the first ten places in the report after Qatar, the UAE, South Korea, China, the Netherlands, Canada, Bulgaria and Norway in addition to Australia and Saudi Arabia.
