The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE), is hosting the 14th Arab Robotics Championship during May 6-9, 2023, which is being organized by the Information Technology Section in the Educational Guidance Department at MOEHE, in collaboration with the Arab Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Association (ARA) and Qatar Scientific Club.
The Arab Robotics Championship constitutes one of the most important competitions dedicated to school students in the area of robotics at the level of the Arab world since it represents a creative technological, scientific manifestation in the area of designing, building, and programming educational robotics. Various student teams of different age groups from the Arab region are participating in this Championship. Around 320 Arab teams and more than 1000 students are expected to participate in the edition of the Championship this year.
The competition develops the students' thinking skills and abilities in sciences, technology, engineering, mathematics, AI, and scientific research, promoting a sense of team spirit via its various competitions.
