Qatar Chairs Committee on Anti-Dumping Practices in International Trade

The State of Qatar chaired the proceedings of the meeting of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Committee on Anti-Dumping Practices in International Trade, which began yesterday in the Swiss city of Geneva for one week. 

The Committee was chaired by Mr. Ahmed Essa Al Sulaiti, Acting Director of the office of the State of Qatar to WTO, who has been unanimously nominated for the position of chairing the committee for 2021-2022.

The meeting reviewed the policies adopted by Member States in the field of anti-dumping in international trade, as well as the procedures that are being put in place to notify Member States about the approved mechanisms or complaints that are filed to the organization.
