Qatar Airways has announced providing 100,000 free tickets to healthcare practitioners who were and are still operating in the frontlines to combat the Coronavirus (COVID-19). This move is an initiative to thank and appreciate them for their heroic efforts during such crisis.

Over the past months, the Qatari air carrier has been keen to maintain its ongoing operations around the clock and (24/7). This also includes operating above 100 unscheduled flights, in order to ensure the return of above one million passengers to their home countries.

Healthcare practitioners worldwide will manage to register for obtaining the air tickets, as of 00.01 AM on 12 May and until 23:59 PM on 18 May (according to the local time of Doha City).
