News Details

HE Dr. Saleh bin Muhammad Al Nabit, the President of Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA), has announced the launch of a new application called "Qatar Statistics" for smart mobile devices. The application has become available for free download on various types of devices with Android and IOS operating systems. This important step comes in conjunction with the start of the field visits of the General Census of Population, Housing and Establishments "Qatar Census 2020". It also coincides with a special memory for all of us in which we celebrate the National Day of the State of Qatar on December 18, 2020.

Commenting on the news, Dr. Khalid Ali Al Quradaghi, Director of the Information Systems Department and Adviser to the Office of the President of PSA, clarified that the new application "Qatar Statistics" will provide all users with a direct link to register. This is in order to complete the data of "Qatar Census 2020" electronically in an easy, safe and fast way, without the need to receive field researchers to register households and individuals in the country, as Dr. Al Quradaghi said.

The new application is user-friendly, whether in terms of the practical design of the user interface or the quick link between it and the PSA website and the data published thereon. Moreover, the application is available in both Arabic and English versions.
