Mr. Nasser Saeed Al Naimi, Deputy Chief of Quality at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Director of Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute, and Head of the 16000 Health Sector Call Center, has disclosed that the first phase of the national electronic project to provide virtual treatment services will launch via telephone for all patients eligible for treatment during November 2022. 

Al Naimi said that patients' appointments in various clinics would become virtual appointments, highlighting that messages via phones will be sent to target patients for virtual visits, to confirm their preference for a virtual visit or their wish to attend clinics. He pointed out that the second phase of the project will start in January 2023.
