HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, chaired the Cabinet's regular meeting held at the Amiri Diwan yesterday's noon. 

At the beginning of the meeting, the Cabinet listened to the explanation made by HE the Minister of Public Health, on the latest developments to curb the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and the Cabinet affirmed the continuation of the precautionary measures taken to combat this pandemic.

The Cabinet also listened to the presentation made by HE the Minister of Finance on the progress of work on the unified website for government tenders. HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior instructed the necessity of the commitment of government entities and the bodies that fund their budget from the State to announce the tenders and auctions on this website, with the aim of achieving justice, transparency and equal opportunities, and providing information to investors on the needs of government entities.

Then, the Cabinet reviewed the Ministry of Transport and Communications' letter on the policy framework document for cloud computing. 

The cloud computing policy framework has been developed to provide high-quality services to individuals, companies and institutions, increase efficiency and growth significantly, and to ensure reliable access to all local and international users alike, based on the Communications Regulatory Authority’s strategy to support the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Second National Development Strategy.
