PM Directs all Government Entities to Complete
HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, chaired the Cabinet's regular meeting held at the Amiri Diwan yesterday's noon.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Cabinet listened to the explanation made by HE Dr. Hanan Mohammed Al Kuwari, Minister of Public Health, on the latest developments to curb the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and the Cabinet affirmed the continuation of the precautionary measures taken to combat this pandemic.
During the Cabinet's regular meeting, HE the Minister of Public Health presented the strategic plan of the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH). This comes within the framework of the instructions of HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior about briefing the Cabinet on the plans related to the jurisdictions of ministries, other governmental bodies and public organizations and authorities. This includes all programs, operational projects and specific timetables for achievement as well as standards and indicators measuring performance progress, and in conformity with the comprehensive development vision "the Qatar National Vision 2030," including partnership projects between the public and private sectors, if found.
The presentation included the main goal of MOPH that is to improve the health of the population of the State of Qatar, and meet the needs of the current and future generations through a comprehensive healthcare system that leads to better health, care, and value for everyone. The presentation also included projects related to the strategic plan of the Ministry.
HE the Prime Minister emphasized the need for the strategic plans of the government agencies to include the following points:
A project for the description, classification and arrangement of job positions for each entity.
A project for documenting work procedures in each entity.
A project for preparing job curriculum for each entity.
All government entities must complete all these strategic projects before the end of 2022. In addition, the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs will support the entities technically in implementing these projects.
