The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced starting the procedures of conducting the necessary checks-up of new students applying for joining schools during the academic year 2020-2021, effective from Sunday, 19 July 2020.

PHCC stressed that it has taken all necessary precautions and measures out of concern for the safety of students, after the mechanisms of and procedures of checking up students applying for joining schools this year have been developed, particularly in the light of the pandemic of Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The check-up procedures are summed up as follows: First step is that a parent must call via the hotline (107) and select the medical checkup of school students in order to book an appointment for school registration, since specialized employees will book all appointments necessary for a student online for the dental clinic and family medicine clinic. Second step is that a parent with a student must attend his health center according to day scheduled for the checkup, as well as the need to be present one hour ahead of appointment and bring necessary documents including (a valid QID card and health card, birth certificate and vaccination booklet).
