Official Working Hours of Ramadan 2022 for Ministries, Government Agencies Announced

HE Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Sulaiti, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, issued today a circular specifying working hours during the blessed month of Ramadan for ministries, government agencies, and public entities and institutions.

The circular stated that on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan for the year 2022, it has been decided that the number of official working hours during the blessed month for civil servants would be five hours daily, starting from 09:00 AM until 02:00 PM. 

An employee may be allowed to be late for a maximum of 10:00 AM in the morning, provided that work requirements are fulfilled and employee completes the official working hours (five hours).
