HE Sheikh Dr Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al Thani, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, inaugurated yesterday the official website of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC), in the presence of a number of Ministry officials.

HE the Minister stated that the new website comes as part of the Ministry's keenness to communicate with the public rapidly and easily, following the establishment of MOECC under Amiri Decision No. 57 of 2021 setting the competencies of the ministries.

The website will support the Ministry's efforts to achieve Qatar's National Environment and Climate Change Strategy, which is one of the main pillars of Qatar National Vision 2030, and is in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

HE the Minister affirmed the importance of constant communication with all global and regional organizations and entities concerned with environmental affairs and climate change, within the framework of the privileged status achieved by the State of Qatar as an effective and vital actor in this area.
