The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) is organizing a forum "New Technologies and Digital Transformation" in cooperation with the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) on Tuesday, 29 December 2020.

The forum, which will be held virtually in line with the precautionary measures taken to combat the Coronavirus (COVID-19), will highlight the role of the new technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) in accelerating digital transformation. It will also discuss the best regional and global practices on developing relevant plans and policies with an overview of global and regional indicators measuring progress in the implementation of digital transformation.

The forum features three main discussion sessions focusing on digital transformation and AI, AI application cases in the State of Qatar and the digitization of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Arab region. The forum features some renowned local and international speakers with the experience in the domain.
