The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) has launched a set of online workshops in July on the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These workshops aim to enable companies to excel in using modern technology, and promote awareness of using technology in the business sector, in order to achieve maximum benefit from various technologies to save time, effort and cost, and increase productivity, profit and innovation.

MOTC announced the start of nine new training sessions and workshops this month to support communication with appropriate service providers, enhance the digital transformation of companies and activate their online presence, highlighting the benefits and incentives for the digital transformation of SMEs.

The Ministry through these training workshops seeks to support the development of the State's knowledge-based economy by providing and developing an environment of an innovative and sustainable digital society. This is via programs that encourage the use of information technology in SMEs. MOTC also affirms its commitment to developing and sustaining the information and communications technology (ICT) sector in the State at various levels.
