Coinciding with the State of Qatar reimposing restrictions due to the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), Maritime Transport Affairs at the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) has launched an awareness and control campaign on maritime vessels. Professionals from the Ministry of Interior's Criminal Investigation Department and General Directorate of Coasts and Borders Security, and from the National Tourism Council participated in the campaign.

This comes out of MOTC's keenness to ensure that helmsmen of maritime vessels with their various kinds and their users comply with the health measures that must be followed, and ensure that they adhere to maritime security and safety measures.
