The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC), revealed that 3,443 transactions were completed in the maritime transport sector during the third quarter of 2021, in a tweet on its official Twitter account. The transactions covered Maritime Vessel’s main services, Maritime Licenses’ services, sailor affairs’ main services, and maritime system services, the ministry added.
Consequently, a total of 2,988 services were rendered in maritime vessel’s main services section while maritime licenses’ services, sailor affairs’ main services, and maritime system services marked 45, 253, and 157 services, respectively, during the third quarter.
MOTC is providing various services to small and large vessels in order to develop the maritime transport sector. They are also designed to facilitate operations and procedures and keep pace with technological advancements through the automation of all ship’s services.
