The Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) has signed an agreement with MEEZA Company to develop and expand the second phase of MAWARED, the government human resource management platform. This platform benefits many government entities, and the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA) oversees the implementation and operating of the platform.

The agreement is regarded as the latest addition to the joint cooperation between MEEZA Company and the government of the State of Qatar to automate human resources processes and procedures. Moreover, it expands the information technology infrastructure to include all the requirements of government entities, in the light of the tremendous technological development and digital transformation currently underway in the State of Qatar.

On this occasion, Ms. Mashael Al Hammadi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Information Technology Affairs at MOTC, said: "The MAWARED platform is regarded as one of the most basic services of the digital transformation in Qatar e-Government program seeking to integrate information systems to meet the needs of our growing tech-based society. MOTC has intended to expand the platform's infrastructure in order to include new government entities. We will benefit from a range of prominent end-to-end Managed IT services and solutions that include the latest software, something which is essential to the development of the MAWARED application affiliated with the government platform."
