The Ministry of Transport (MOT) has announced that the land transport sector has completed 3032 transactions during the first quarter of 2022. They included 2007 transactions for land transport licenses, and 879 transactions for land transport planning, as well as 146 transactions for traffic engineering and road safety, as MOT said.
In its official Twitter account, MOT pointed out that the most prominent services provided by the land transport licensing sector during the first quarter of this year have included issuing preliminary approvals to (issue commercial registers, issue commercial licenses, add activity to commercial registers, amend data of registers and licenses and add branch to commercial registers).
The sector is continuing its efforts seeking to develop an advanced infrastructure in line with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030. The Ministry's message is not only limited to establishing a global infrastructure of land transport; but also the Ministry seeks to establish an integrated and effective transport system that will be run with advanced technology, will help all service, economic and environmental sectors and will link Qatar to regional and global economies effectively.
