On Twitter, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has announced that thermal screening for COVID-19 is no longer required in public places except in metro stations, airports, seaports, and the land border. Thermal screening was a basic requirement in the State's precautionary measures (Covide-19).

MoPH also explained that the decision comes as part of Phase 4 of the Gradual Lifting of Restrictions and with the number of new daily COVID-19 cases remaining low in recent weeks. The Ministry has also emphasized that a green Ehteraz status is still required to enter public places.
