News Details

The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) has said in a statement that parents wishing to register their children aged 12 to 15 years to take the Pfizer-BioNTech Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine can visit the vaccine registration page via MOPH website, click on the children registration option, and then insert QID card number pertaining to a child. This is in order for a parent later on to receive a passcode on the mobile number under which the child's QID is registered to complete the process, as MOPH said.

MOPH clarified that following the registration, the parent of the registered child will receive an SMS from the Primary Health Care Center (PHCC) team to confirming the vaccine appointment date and time.

For its part, PHCC emphasized the importance of immunizing children against the pandemic, in order to back to their normal life and provide a safe environment, particularly in schools.
