News Details

Starting from Sunday, 14 February 2021, and based on the policies of travel and return to the State of Qatar, it has been decided that any previously announced hotel quarantine exemptions shall no longer apply for people returning to the State of Qatar from countries that are not included in the Green List. This new policy shall apply to all entries of the State, as the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) has said, via its official Twitter account.

The Ministry also pointed out that entry to Qatar from a country included in the Green List via entrances across land, airport and seaport requires home quarantine, while entry from a country not included in the Green List requires hotel quarantine.

MOPH has updated the Green List related to COVID-19 that includes 18 countries among of which is one Arab country; namely the Sultanate of Oman. Moreover, the Ministry added Maldives in its previous list, explaining that Maldives is in the Green List through the Travel Bubble Holiday packages only.
