The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) has launched Qatar Medical Specialties Certificate (Qatari Board). The new certification program is an important step to culminate the major efforts to develop the efficiency of medical professionals, through high standards in the evaluation of doctors, who complete their training in various disciplines in hospitals and accredited programs in Qatar that eventually lead to their acquisition of the Qatari Board.

The registration for the Qatari Board in various medical specialties is scheduled to open in the beginning of next July.

Dr. Saad Al Kaabi, Director of the Healthcare Professions Department at MOPH, stated that the details of the Qatari Board, its organizational structure, and registration mechanism of trained doctors, would soon be announced.
