MoPH Launches New Remote Healthcare Services

In the midst of the global Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) launched remote healthcare services to facilitate access to medical care, in the Primary Health Care Corporation and the Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).

The Ministry allocated the hotline 16000 for health care services in order to obtain three medical services throughout the country, namely:

-The hotline to answer all questions and concerns related to Corona Virus (Covid-19) The line operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

-HMC consultation hotline will be active 7 days a week from 7am to 10pm. The service which is for urgent cases only includes 11 specialties, intended for urgent care cases only.

-The PHCC Community Call Centre for Virtual Consultations is also a 7-days-a-week service and will be accepting calls from 7am to 11pm.
