News Details

The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), in cooperation with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), has launched an electronic coloring booklet with drawings including educational messages that are directed to children through heroic personalities from medical staff, "doctors, nurses and paramedics" during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic entitled "Heroes of the White Army."

The booklet addresses awareness-raising tips for children to deal with COVID-19 in a simplified manner, in both Arabic and English languages, provided by medical staff heroes during the State of Qatar's efforts to tackle the COVID-19.

Ms. Alyaa Hassan Al Kuwari, Director of Public Relations and Communication at the MOPH, has said: "The launch of the E-booklet is as part of the MOPH's efforts, in collaboration with the HMC and PHCC, to promote awareness and health education about the COVID-19 pandemic among children in the Qatari society. This comes in the light of the continuing precautionary measures and preventive measures associated with the virus. Moreover, the booklet constitutes a symbolic recognition of the efforts of medical staff in combating the Coronavirus pandemic."

MOPH also called upon the children's parents to open the link, and insert the names of their children, and the download the illustrated coloring booklet in PDF format.
