About

The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) launched yesterday an e-learning platform for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), which is the first stage of an e-learning site for Persons with Disabilities in Qatar.

The platform was launched in partnership with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Child Development and Pediatric Rehabilitation Center, Qatar Foundation, Al Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities, and Qatar Autism Society.

The main objective behind the website is to offer parents and caregivers a digital source of scientific information covering educational, social, and health related topics.

Dr. Noof Mohammed Al Siddiqi, Health Lead of the National Autism Plan at MOPH, said that the platform is part of the Ministry's efforts and its partners to help all individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families.
