The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) announced the mechanism of issuing birth certificates and death certificates during Eid al-Adha holiday.

The Ministry explained, in a tweet posted on its official Twitter account, that requests for the issuance of birth certificates for new-borns during Eid al-Adha holiday will be received electronically only, through the registration link on MOPH website.

The Ministry added that the birth certificates can be collected at the New-born Registration Office of the Women's Health and Research Centre.

MOPH set the dates for receiving certificates from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, or could be delivered via Qatar Post.

The Ministry pointed that death certificate issuance services will be provided at the Office of Humanitarian Services during the Eid al-Adha holiday from 8am until 12 noon. Applications for the birth and death committee will be suspended during the Eid holiday.
