MoJ Calls for Completing Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Operating Offices

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has called on real estate brokers and brokerage offices operating in the real estate sector to register to complete licensing and accreditation procedures for practicing real estate brokerage profession, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (22) of 2017 regarding the regulation of real estate brokerage. MoJ has said in its statement that in order to facilitate citizens wishing to practice the profession, brokers and offices currently operating, the registration page has been launched on the Ministry's official website. The real estate brokerage affairs department at MoJ is also receiving those who wish to register in person at the department's headquarters located in the main building of the Ministry in Al Khaleej (Gulf) Tower.

MoJ clarified that the official page for registering real estate brokers allows the registration of brokers with their different categories, whether a broker is a natural person, or local legal person, or a foreign broker. The page also includes a preview of all the required data in a way that allows the broker to register all his data without the need to visit the Department, unless he wants to register in person.

The Ministry also noted that registration is open to all companies and individuals wishing to practice real estate brokerage according to the standards followed in line with the provisions of the law.
