The Ministry of Interior (MOI), on its official social media website (Twitter), has said that the remote service of submitting criminal complaints via "Metrash2" App reduces the time of receiving a report and simplifies procedures for customers. The MOI has previously launched the service of submitting criminal complaints this year.
The process of submitting a complaint begins with accessing "Metrash2" App and selecting the window "Contact us," and then moving to the window of criminal complaints (Security Departments). This is in order to select a security department concerned with a complaint as well as specifying a complaint type, and write a summary on complaint, in addition to a complaint signatory with attaching signed photocopy of a complaint.
The MOI also stated that after submitting a complaint, a relevant security department will contact a complainant and complete the rest of followed procedural measures according to the nature and requirements of complaint.
The MOI has urged all customers of security departments who wish to submit complaints or reports to use the service, in an attempt to curb heading to security departments personally. At the same time, this also includes following the precautionary measures by banning gatherings in order to achieve public safety requirements.
