The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has emphasized the need to register the data related to the National Address. In its tweet on the social media website Twitter, MOI pointed out that the registration process will be one of the information required for completing transactions. The Ministry calls upon those who have failed to process the registration to correct their status and proceed to process the National Address registration before 25 July 2020, so as to ensure completing their transactions on time.
MOI has reminded citizens, expatriates, and legal persons, according to the National Address Law, about the need to register the National Address via Metrash 2 mob app or MOI website. The Ministry calls upon citizens and residents to register the National Address, given that it is a qualitative leap in facilitating the receipt of services from various entities and judicial and justice proceedings.
MOI urges all individuals including the Qataris, non-Qataris, institutions and businesses to register the data of their national address, given that it is a mandatory legal procedure, since the failure to process the registration results in punishments and penalties specified under the law.
