The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has said that most services provided by the General Directorate of Traffic are available at Metrash2 application and MOI website, and that these services can be done remotely and easily.
Traffic transactions pertaining to vehicle registrations and driving licenses via Metrash2 application have considerably increased during last March 2020, compared to February 2020. This is because during March 2020, there have been 70277 traffic transactions, compared to 36310 traffic transactions during February 2020, according to figures issued by the General Directorate of Traffic.
The General Directorate of Traffic has called for using online services provided by the Directorate for individuals, institutions and companies via Metrash2 application and MOI website directly, without the need to check with various sections of the General Directorate of Traffic. This is because the window of the General Directorate of Traffic via Metrash2 application includes a number of windows providing a host of traffic transactions that are above 40 services related to driving licenses, vehicles, traffic violations and incidents, traffic certificates and other services, while MOI website includes a large number of services.
