MOI Encourages Public to Use E-Service for Vehicle Renewals

The Ministry of Interior (MOI) represented by the General Directorate of Traffic called on the public to benefit from its electronic services to complete vehicle renewal transactions after the exemption from technical examination, in the framework of the health and precautionary measures to contain the Coronavirus (Covid-19), emphasizing that the patrols will proceed its usual work to seize vehicles violating technical specifications and conditions.

In a statement, the directorate clarified that the number of beneficiaries form the initiative of the exemption from technical examination have reached until Sunday 11,575, while the number of people who renewed their vehicle registration on Metrash2 application during the period from March 19 to 23 reached to 8,361.

The directorate said, that all reviewers can benefit from the electronic services that the Interior Ministry is providing to individuals, institutions and corporates through Metrash2 and its website directly without the need to go to the General Directorate of Traffic different departments.
