The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has announced adding a number of services to become online services via Metrash 2 mobile app, among which are Search and Follow-up Department (SFD) reports, coast guard services, reporting lost objects, delegate services for processing transactions of companies, police clearance certificate, address queries, and security permits.

Via a number of tweets on social media website Twitter, MOI added: "In view of the fact that Metrash 2 mob app is important, the number of its users has exceeded one million users since its launch. Since early 2020 until last April, the number of completed transactions has reached above two million and three hundred thousand transactions. The total number of inquiries on services provided through Metrash 2 mobile app has exceeded 5 million queries."

The number of services provided via this mobile app has reached above 200 services for the public and companies, since statistics have revealed that the most used services during this year are renew vehicle registration, national address registration, residency renewal, extend visa, and traffic violations payment. MOI has urged all its customers to use Metrash 2 mobile app to get their services and transactions done, in an attempt to save time and efforts, and implement the precautionary measures announced by the State of Qatar to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19).
