The Ministry of Finance (MOF) has launched a "TAHFEEZ" program to enhance services and industries in the government sector, with the aim of increasing local content, enhancing the flexibility of the supply chain and services, and supporting small and medium private sector companies.

The program comprises of three pillars, Qatar In-Country Value (QICV), Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

On this occasion, HE Minister of Finance Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari said: "The launch of TAHFEEZ comes to strengthen services and industries in the government sector, in embodiment of the vision and directives of HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the country, may God protect him, which defined the roadmap towards economic diversification and self-reliance in order to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030."
