MOEHE Seeks to Activate Academic Accreditation

The Higher Education Sector of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) organized a meeting entitled “The Impact of the Corona Covid-19 Pandemic on Academic Accreditation and Lessons Learned” online.
Representatives of State institutions of higher education and a number of specialists in higher education from outside the State of Qatar participated in the meeting.
In a speech, the Undersecretary of MOEHE, His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim Bin Saleh Al Naimi, stressed the importance of the academic accreditation for higher education institutions as it approves the credibility of their academic programs and ensures the quality of their educational output for stakeholders.
Dr. Al Naimi said that MOEHE seeks to activate academic accreditation by forming a committee to supervise the quality assurance of learning outcomes at the institutional and program level in each institution.
