The Student Evaluation Department affiliated with the evaluation affairs sector of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOHE) has announced that the certificates of second mid-semester examinations for students will be obtained online. The Department has called upon schools to instruct students and parents to obtain school certificates online via the e-services portal available at MOEHE website without the need to check with school.
In its circular in this regard forwarded to the administrations of public and private schools that apply the national standards, the Department emphasized the need for schools to make this announcement for students and parents by all possible means out of the keenness to maintain the health of everyone.
As regards the mechanism of dealing with the rest of the school materials in the second mid-semester examinations, the Department called upon schools to record “Excused” for students in the column of the grade of the second mid-semester examinations pertaining to these school materials.
The Department instructed calculating 100% grade for students in these school materials out of grade allocated for the second semester, provided that schools should monitor the grades of the rest of the school materials that have been taken by students and issue results.
