The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) has announced the preparedness of public schools for students backing to school during the school year 2020-2021 on 1 September 2020. 

The Ministry, in line with a report broadcasted by Qatar Radio yesterday’s evening, emphasized that arrangements in this regard are underway currently. The Ministry stressed the need for everyone to be committed to attending and not being absent and fully comply with the precautionary health measures inside schools to ensure the safety of various parties to the educational process.

The Ministry clarified that it is currently considering various measures that can be taken to protect schools’ students. The Ministry made clear that it is considering all alternatives that can be applied to protect students, such as blended learning that combines traditional learning based on school attendance and distance learning. Moreover, the Ministry stressed the need to implement the precautionary measures to prevent the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) among students and ensure their safety.
