The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MOEHE) has announced that it has been decided to begin the upcoming school year (2020-2021) in all schools in the State of Qatar, including public and private schools and kindergartens, according to the following stages:

First stage: This is for three days; it will begin from 1-3 September 2020 so that the percentage of student attendance should not increase the one-third of classrooms of school during the first three days. The Ministry's sector of educational affairs and private education has sent guidebooks to public schools, including public specialized schools and schools specialized in the special education field (Audio Education Complex, and Al Hedaya schools and kindergartens), private schools and kindergartens, in proposed samples on how students attend schools.

Second stage: This is for two weeks; it will begin from 6-17 September 2020 and will include integrated education so that the percentage of attendance and occupancy in all Qatar's schools including public and private schools and kindergartens should not increase 50% of students. In other words, the attendance of these students will be rotational on two groups during the above-mentioned two weeks.

Third stage: The actual full-time studying totaling 100% of all students of schools and kindergartens will begin, and this period for all students of schools and public and private kindergartens will begin from 20 September 2020. This also includes the continuing to take precautionary measures in line with the requirements of the Ministry's Health and Safety Department, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health.
