The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) has won the Gold Stevie Award in the Innovation in Cross-Media Marketing category, during the awarding ceremony for the winners of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Stevie Awards, which was held in Ras Al Khaimah, the United Arab Emirates.
In a statement, MOCI said that the award, which was received by the Ministry's delegation, comes as a culmination of the continuous efforts to enhance food security, develop local industries, and strengthen self-reliance in many basic sectors, particularly in the light of the sudden economic crises. These efforts come in pursuit of achieving one of the main pillars of Qatar National Vision; to build a competitive and diversified economy capable of meeting the needs of the society at present and in the future.
The Ministry has launched an integrated marketing campaign at the state level, in addition to community activities and promotions in commercial centers highlighting the quality and competitiveness of locally made products.
